As May 5th approaches it becomes a time of reflection and celebration. This year to savor all that has happened in honor of Deysi Suyapa Madrid Chavez (1984-2008) we will gather to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with at Jonathan’s Restaurant in Ogunquit, ME.
Our south of the border flair will be evident in everything from specialty Margaritas, Sangria and beers at our cash bar to appetizers and a specially prepared three course meal served by our own comedy waiters. Their goal will be to raise the highest amount in tips in order to covet our Gringo trophy. You can enjoy the comic relief as you bid on our silent and live auction items. Come prepared to buy a few raffle tickets and be fortunate enough to take home a wine fridge and 25 bottles of wine!
More importantly, know that your support will allow us to continue providing two meals and a snack to 104 children in our guarderia (daycare facility), as well as clean drinking water, medical access, and educational uniforms and supplies to 50 children. We currently also support a sewing center which teaches local mothers and the teen girls of Daisy’s Children.

Your purchase price of $30 will provide food for a child for 15 days! Can’t attend? Buy a ticket and we’ll see that someone less fortunate can attend in your honor!
